Compliance programs need to be continually assessed both for effectiveness, whether aligned to the business goals and for changes in the regulatory environment.

Compliance Programs are never static. They should always be assessed and continually modified to ensure that they are effective. The measurement should also be documented and show either reduction in failures, improvement of revenue, or minimization of costs due to failures.
